Sunday Worship: Psalm 3:3

But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.  – Psalm 3:3 (ESV)

If there is something that I need, it is for the Lord to lift my head.

How thankful I am that the Lord sought me while I was still His enemy and lifted my head. I’m thankful that I can look back and remember how many times since I’ve been His that He has lifted my head. And I’m thankful for this reminder that God is the “lifter” of my head meaning that He will continue in this way for me.

Lord, today please lift our heads and our hearts so that we may worship you as we should.
